Not so sure about this one... most of the 5000W that the dryer puts out is consumed by displacing the water from the clothes to the air stream. There is relatively little heat to be saved and you may end up with a serious condensation problem if you have a cold basement. Also your dehumidifier might start to run negating any energy savings.
