These reusable menstrual products (available from Grassroots and elsewhere) are a low-cost, healthy, environmentally friendly alternative to disposable tampons and pads. While the initial cost may seem high, remember that a year of tampons can cost upwards of $200. If you're considering making the switch this article from the Center for Young Women's Health is a useful guide for women of all ages.

The both the diva cup and the keeper

Emily 1 year 8 weeks 1 day 14 hours ago

The both the diva cup and the keeper can be ordered directly from their websites. They both have a pretty good FAQ. I find the diva cup easier because you can boil it in between periods. I would also like to point out that since it hold an ounce of blood most people only need to empty it in the morning and the evening so you only need to deal with it at home. It also doesn't absorb anything so it reduces your chances of toxic shock.

Yes, yes, yes. Use a Diva Cup

Yes, yes, yes. Use a Diva Cup or a Keeper. You won't be sorry. I was able to by a Diva Cup at my local whole foods coop for at least $10 less than offered in this deal, and at least one of my local family planning clinics sells them, too, so look around for better deals. But buy one, it's worth it.
