$25 Credit and Free Thermostat for Ontario Residents

The Peaksaver program gives Ontario residents a $25 credit on their energy bill and a free programmable thermostat just for signing up. The hitch is that your local power authority will then be able to cycle down your air conditioning on days of peak energy demand. But don't worry - they only do it when it's necessary and even then only on weekdays between noon and 6pm.
