Clif Nectar 100% organic chocolate, fruit and nut bars each contain 2 servings of fruit along with a good dose of fiber. Made from six or fewer natural ingredients depending on the flavor, they’re designed to fuel your active green lifestyle. In addition to using all organic ingredients and fair-trade cocoa in their Nectar bars, Clif is a member of 1% for the Planet - donating 1% of sales to environmental organizations.
All-natural ingredients and a strong commitment to the environment probably make Clif Nectar bars the greenest energy bars out there, but how do they taste? While all the flavors I tried all were more palatable than some energy bars I’ve tried, my favorites were the Dark Chocolate Raspberry and the Cranberry, Apricot Almond. With five other flavors to try, I’m sure there’s something for everyone, and at about a buck twenty-five each they’re priced similarly to other energy bars out there. Here’s how I rated the bars:

I could live on Clif Bars! Maybe not entirely… but they do work exceedingly well for pre and post-run energy.
Anyway, the Cranberry and Dark Chocolate Raspberry are my current favorites.

Clif just teamed up with Terracycle to collect their wrappers to be reused. Terracycle is the worm poop people. The program pays 2 cents for each wrapper. After the wrappers are collected, they will be made into bags.

Great idea for schools and not for profits. My school is collecting the yogurt cups right now which is another one of Terracycle’s collection fundraisers.
Terracycle is an amazing company! Anna www.green-talk.com
