Envirosax are sturdy, colorful, reusable, polyester shopping bags that roll into a neat little bun when not in use. Here’s our video review:
Keeping a reusable shopping bag on had is an easy step toward living more sustainably. As you can see we like both Envirosax and the previously reviewed Baggu. Envirosax rates a little lower than Baggu in the green department because the company doesn’t provide a recycling program. Polyester recycling is possible though so as long as you can find somewhere to recycle your Envirosax, we recommend them both equally. Here are the numbers:

Too bad, both Baggu and Envirosax are too expensive and we can actually use cloth bags that are given away free at conferences or those bags that are sold at the check-out counters that cost less than 1USD.
But I simply love the video and the comparisons

Thanks, pretty soon we’ll be branching out to things other than bags and beverages

I really liked my envirosax when I first got it, but after only 6 months of use, it is showing a great deal of wear. I’ve never washed the bag or otherwise abused it (besides carrying groceries in it), but I already have holes and all sorts of bizarre structure flaws in the material. So far it is way too expensive for the quality of product.

All shopping bags get worn and dirty easily, they will go to the landfill in less than a year, if we really care, use a cloth bag instead, like the bio-degradable funtote bags.
