Paul Newman donates all the profits from Newman’s Own Organics to various charities, he’s given $200 million so far. I’ve found Newman’s Own Organics to be a brand I can trust to be tasty and not overly pricey.
I tried Newman’s Apricots, Prunes, Raisins and Apples. They all tasted great (I love dried fruit) and I especially enjoyed the apples which had been allowed to brown slightly rather than being kept pristinely white with preservatives as many dried apples are. I also appreciated that the Prunes and Raisins are products of California - keepin’ it domestic.
If you can find organic dried fruit in the bulk bin then I suggest you stick with that but if packaging isn’t a concern Newman’s Own Organics are a good bet. Here are the numbers:
