Like the preserve products we’ve reviewed here before the Razor Triple’s handle comes in a variety of colors and is made from recycled plastic (from at least 65% Stonyfield Yogurt cups). When you’re done with it (after swapping out the disposable razor head hundreds of times), just drop it in the blue bin.
I’m generally a Mach 3 user but I found the Razor Triple gave me about as close & comfortable a shave as I’m used to. The different angle of attack took a bit of getting used to when switching over but once I got used to it I actually found the more compact head could get into little nooks the Mach 3 had been missing.
The starter kit comes packaged in a reusable travel case made from “a renewable wood source” - not sure exactly how that works but nice to see a holistic green approach (the label is also made from 100% post-consumer paper). Two blades are included with the handle and the whole kit costs about what I’d spend on a couple of Mach 3 blades anyhow. After the initial investment you’ll save even more on blades.
Overall I’m impressed with the functionality of Preserve’s razor as well as the price and eco-friendliness. There’s no question the Razor Triple is a green deal, here’s how it scored:
