Preserve Toothbrushes by Recycline
Tags:

Like the preserve products we've reviewed here before (see below) these adult and kids toothbrushes are made from 100% recycled plastic with Stonyfield Farm yogurt cups making up 25% of the blend. They come packaged in a convenient travel case that even has little vent holes to keep your brush from getting mildew-y. Once you've worn the bristles down just pop it into Recycline's postage-paid mailer and your old brush will be turned into plastic lumber.
I can't vouch for having used the kids brush but it does have fun animal facts on the package and a nice big handle for little hands to grip. The adult brush's sweeping curved handle took me a little getting used to but after using it for a month I really like the way it helps me get all the nooks and crannies plaque (not to mention the evil gingivitis) might be hiding in. I also liked the size of the head which wasn't as big as many of the newfangled high-tech brushes. The price of Preserve's toothbrushes isn't as big as those feature-filled brushes either, at just about $2.50 each, they're definitely a green deal.
Okay, we've got a green toothbrush, but what about the paste? Tell us how you keep your mouth minty green in the comments!

As you say, Recycline also makes razors and other kitchen products from recycled plastic. I just posted a review of some of these products today on my site - 1GreenProduct.com. Hope you
