Review Section Launches Today!

November 20th, 2007 by JP · 2 Comments

Later today I’ll post the first product review in our new reviews section. I feel excitement (and a little trepidation) at the prospect of reviewing the products beginning to pile up here at GreenDeals Daily headquarters. We’ll be reviewing everything from organic iced tea to camping hammocks and more! Here’s are some of the brands we hope to cover in the next month or so:

Wow, that’s a long list! I may not get through them all by Christmas but I’ll try!

We’ll be reviewing products based on three criteria for a combined score out of ten. Here’s the breakdown:

  • How green is it? (4 points)
  • Is it good value for money? (3 points)
  • Overall quality. (3 points)

Let me know what you think of this rating scheme, or if there are particular products you’d like us to look at, in the comments.

If you’d like us to review your environmentally friendly product, please send us a sample.

Update: I’ve expanded on this rating scheme here.

Perhaps you could also share with your readers your definition of green, value and overall quality?

For example, how green is green to you, considering you will be reviewing green products only, right? And how do you define “less green”?

What about value? Do you mean value for money?

And quality? No offense, but one can only talk about quality if one has used a product before. I mean, I can’t say whether any product is of good or bad quality until I have used and tested it.

    Just my two cents.

Thanks for the questions, I’ve addressed them here.
