Timberland Earthkeepers Hiking Boots Made with Recycled Materials

These boots were made for walkin' but what's more important is what they're made from. Timberland's Earthkeepers hiking boots are put together using recycled rubber and organic cotton among other things and boxed up in a 100% post-consumer shoe box. I liked the boots a lot, the green aspects were well thought out and you can tell Timberland is truly committed to the environment and not just trying to make themselves look good. At $160 per pair they're priced about the same as many of Timberland's less green offerings which means you're not paying extra for the privilege of going green. Here's how I rated them:
